Gamesnash Live is a new venture from Gamesnash.ie and I took a trip to Gamesnash Live is essentially a living room within a gaming centre environment. One of the first things that struck me was how bright and spacious the centre is (tune in next week when Sabre presents his new home improvement show with a feature on Feng Shui [ed]). The layout of the rooms allow for each player to have their own space yet the venue is compact enough that all groups can socialise with each other or watch other games in progress. As for providing a living room within a centre, choices of seats include couches and bean bags - what more could you want! The venue caters for gamers young and old, male or female without batting an eyelid. Gamesnash Live also caters for Birthday Parties with gaming and food provided along with a private room. I got a taste of how Gamesnash Live differs from other places during my visit. While talking with one of the owners, a birthday party arrived and were treated to their food. In addition, choruses of "Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Rubay" were belted out. The clients: a group of ten-year old girls who were able to visit this venue, play some games, socialise with one another and have a good time. This is a venue that is appealing to all gamers. The fighting game forum on boards.ie have been offered an open invitation to try out the spot while Gamesnash Live will be hosting their own FIFA tournament on January 30th. Prizes include a private gaming party and cash prizes. I enjoyed my visit: the staff were friendly and welcoming, there were plenty of games available for people to play, I liked the idea of having some space of your own while playing rather than being considered fortunate to have breathing room as is the situation in some other venues and the presentation of the venue was very welcoming. I would definately advise people to visit the venue and try it out for themselves. The idea of a social spot that welcomes all gamers and allows them to mingle really is "gaming as it should be". Find out more about Gamesnash Live, the location, the prices and the services on the Gamesnash Live website.
